Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, delivered remotely at the High-Level Interreligious Dialogue Meeting held in Rome and hosted by the Government of Italy.

The meeting was convened as part of the implementation of one of the key provisions of the Peace Plan for the Region, which emphasizes interreligious dialogue as a vital pillar in supporting the peace process.

H.E. represented the Islamic side of the dialogue, while the Christian side was represented by Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, and the Jewish side by Chief Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt, President of the Conference of European Rabbis.
