Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) condemned the Colombian government’s opening of an “embassy” in occupied Jerusalem.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this action, which runs counter to the international position on the legal and historical status of Jerusalem and violates all relevant international laws and resolutions. He expressed categorical rejection of any measures aimed at entrenching an unlawful situation in occupied Jerusalem or granting legitimacy to any entities or arrangements that contravene international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
