 The Muslim World League Condemns the Heinous Iranian Aggression Against the Saudi Tanker “SIDR,” Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait
Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the heinous Iranian targeting of the Saudi tanker “SIDR” while it was transiting the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the Iranian attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait.
In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, renewed his condemnation of the Iranian attacks, which violate all religious values and international and humanitarian laws and norms. H.E. stressed the MWL’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Kuwait in all measures they take to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and national assets.
H.E. extended his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to the families of the two crew members of the “SIDR” who lost their lives as a result of this heinous aggression.
