The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the targeting of the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by a number of drones originating from Iraq.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, reiterated his condemnation of these treacherous criminal attacks, which violate all religious values as well as international and humanitarian laws and norms.

On behalf of the MWL’s global academies, bodies, and councils, and all Muslim peoples under its umbrella, His Excellency reaffirmed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to deter the aggressors, safeguard its security and sovereignty, and protect the safety of its citizens and residents. He prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its land, leadership, and people—from all harm and adversity.
