The Muslim World League Condemns the Attack on the Synagogue in Pittsburgh and Call It a Terrorist Crime
The Muslim World League condemned the shooting at the synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and its deadly aftermath that has left several casualties and wounded behind. The Rabita expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this terrorist attack.
The Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the World Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdulkarim Alissa said that the Rabita strongly condemns the heinous attack on peaceful civilians and places of worship, and deemed the violation of their sanctity a criminal act. He added that this terrorist attack is deprived of all principles and values and targeted the lives of peaceful and innocent civilians, that such an act will only make our belief grow stronger in strengthening international solidarity and cooperation to confront extremism that knows no religion and race for the sake of realizing its evil objectives.
Dr. Al-Issa stressed the solidarity of the Muslim World League; in the name of the Islamic peoples represented under its unifying umbrella, and from headquarter in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, where Islam was revealed and where Muslim turn to pray, and on behalf of all its councils, organizations and international centers, with the families of the victims and the American authorities. He pointed out that the terrorist attack caused great pain and grief. the transgressors are desperate attempts to stoke religious conflicts and defeat our deep-rooted peace and awareness. Dr. Al Issa reiterated his sincere condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
