Statement from the Muslim World League

Makkah:

The Muslim World League condemns the deadly terrorist attack targeting a mosque in Peshwar, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
 
In a statement by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency the Secretary General, Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced this treacherous criminal act, whose perpetrators were stripped of religion and humanity. They did not observe the sanctity of the human soul or the sanctity of places of worship, reaffirming the position of the MWL and the entire Islamic world, which rejects and condemns violence and terrorism in all its forms.

On behalf of the Muslim World League, its international assemblies, bodies and councils, Dr. Al-Issa offered sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the injured. His Excellency also expressed full solidarity with Pakistan and its dear people in the face of terrorism, supplicating God Almighty to bless the deceased and dwell them in Heaven, inspire their families patience and solace, grant the injured a prompt recovery, and protect the dear Pakistani people from all harm.
