Statement on the Security Council’s Decision to Allow the Delivery of Aids to Gaza Makkah: The Muslim World League welcomes the Security Council resolution which calls for taking urgent steps to immediately allow the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza in an expanded, safe, and unhindered manner, and to create the necessary conditions for a sustainable ceasefire. In a statement by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stressed the need for the international community to assume its responsibility to implement this decision and protect the innocent civilians besieged in Gaza.
