The Muslim World League condemned, in the strongest terms, the decision by the Israeli occupation to authorize the construction of approximately 3,500 new settlement units in the West Bank, a move that violates all international resolutions and the charters of the United Nations.
In a statement from its General Secretariat, the MWL denounced the severe and ongoing violations of the Palestinian people's rights, which obstruct peace and stability in the region. It stressed the imperative for the international community to adopt a genuine and earnest stance to halt the appalling suffering endured by the Palestinian people. This includes ensuring their access to legitimate rights, in alignment with universal religious and humanitarian principles and norms, as well as in accordance with relevant international resolutions.
