Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed its categorical condemnation of the continued closure of Al-Aqsa Mosque (Al-Haram Al-Sharif) to worshippers by the occupying authorities during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued by the MWL’s General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced these actions as an unacceptable encroachment on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.
His Excellency underscored the urgent necessity for the international community to uphold its legal and moral obligations to end these systematic violations of the sanctity of religious sites in Jerusalem.
