Launching this evening in response to the Muslim World League’s initiative to promote social peace across West Africa in all its religious and ethnic diversity:
Under the patronage of H.E. the President, and with the participation of government, parliamentary, and religious leaders, as well as civil society leaders from across West Africa, and with the attendance and participation of H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , the Secretary-General of the MWL—which spearheaded this initiative—the Nigerian capital, Abuja, will host the international conference: “Diversity and Social Peace: A Partnership for a Promising Future.
