Muslim World League Welcomes the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement Between Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan

The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the joint statement issued at the Makkah Joint Defense Summit, which brought together the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Türkiye, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The summit was hosted in Makkah at the gracious invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, and culminated in the signing of the “Makkah Joint Defence Agreement”. The agreement was signed by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, may Allah protect him; His Excellency Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye; and His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, commended the significance of the agreement, particularly its foundation in the bonds of Islamic brotherhood and solidarity and its aim of strengthening collective security and advancing peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and throughout the international community. His Excellency prayed to Almighty Allah to bless these efforts, bring about their intended benefits, and reward all those who contributed to their success.
