Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Opens the “Faith in Light of Science and Contemporary Evidence” Conference in Malaysia

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, inaugurated the international conference titled “Faith in Light of Science and Contemporary Evidence” in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in the presence of a number of prominent scholars, researchers, and intellectuals.
During the conference, H.E. witnessed the launch of the Journal of Scientific Miracles in the Holy Qur’an and the Noble Prophetic Sunnah, published in Malay, English, Chinese, and Hindi.
The conference featured four academic sessions. The first discussed “The Universe and Life: Origins and Formation Between Science and Revelation.” The second examined “Civilizational Scientific Dialogue and Its Importance in Strengthening Faith and Addressing Misconceptions.” The third reviewed “The Journey to Faith: Remarkable International Experiences,” while the fourth explored “Questions of Faith in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
At the conclusion of its proceedings, the conference issued a final statement containing a number of related recommendations. It focused on methods and tools for countering doubts, particularly through the development of initiatives and programs and the enhancement of measurement frameworks, while highlighting the evidences of faith. The recommendations also emphasized benefiting from the MWL’s planned Observatory for Evidence of Faith and Addressing Doubts.
