The MWL Condemns the Continued Israeli Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque

Makkah:

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the continued storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards by extremist Israeli settlers and ministers under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, along with the accompanying assaults on worshippers, provocative practices, and the raising of Israeli flags.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced these dangerous violations, which inflame the sentiments of Muslims around the world, as they constitute a grave assault on the sanctity of Islamic holy sites. H.E. warned of the dangers posed by Israel’s continued violations of the historical and legal status of the holy sites in occupied East Jerusalem, as well as all relevant international laws.

H.E. stressed the urgent necessity for the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities by taking immediate action to put an end to these violations. He also expressed the MWL’s strong support for the joint statement issued in this regard by the Foreign Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Türkiye, the State of Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, calling for confronting all Israeli violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and reaffirming their steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people and the protection of their holy sites.
